The weather's great Paul but a chance of some rain moving in by Wednesday

Well Paul has been teaching bow drill and recommend using goat willow for the hearth and drill amongst other woods .Emily and Hagrid both got an ember at there first attempt

Ichymon Paul but not sure of the spelling and yes he will take you through the bow drill

I'm not a fan of bow drill to be honest Joe, there are more reliable ways to light fires. That said unless its winter I don't use open fires preferring to use a stove.

I agree about the modern methods Harry but sometimes it's nice to use the old methods. A lighter works for me

Any one else suffering from "post meet" fatigue ?

my first nights sleep at home was broken at best

today i seem to be lacking in energy or enthusiasm to do anything

im sure a good nights sleep to night will sort it but i was wondering if any one else go,s through the same after a week in the woods ?

ps i was out for 8 nights total

got to take the landrover down to the local power washer and give it a blitzing tomorrow ....looks like im going to be there best part of the day and need to clean the inside as well
