Been busy making lid clips for my zebra Billy, from some stainless bicycle spokes and a small hobo stove from a stainless utensil pot (Tesco (£2.50) to fit inside the billy

Did you produce the lid clips simply with combination pliers, or what did you use?

Small mole grips/vice grips and long nosed pliers. Made about 3 before I found a shape that worked mirrored that one and hey presto. I'm sure they are not as good as the ones you can buy but they get the job done

You'll also have the satisfaction of knowing you sorted it yourself. Kudos mate.

Pay attention, that they can't look in your shed, and especially cover the weels of theyr children's bikes somehow!
The best should be to hide them behind some planks.

The very best would be perhaps to stand the own bicycle at the fence next to the street without weels, so they have no chance to realise, what's going on!
