Vegetarian Survival Skills

Well am more than curious about this. Am thinking on trying veg only...for a week. Monday through to Monday and see if it has any noticeable changes. Probably won’t be any great differences but defo worth a see 👍🏻

I’ve done it for 35 an a half years with no issues at all :)

I guess, you can survive as a veggie for three days if you eat bread or beans and potatoes.

If you want to eat only vegetables, you will need several weeks to feel comfortable, depending on how concentrated your food had been before.

Who eats mainly bread, meat, chocolate, eggs, dried sausages, cheese and sugar like I do it currently will get the most problems if he changes exclusively to vegetables.

The body has to train that.
But if you want to loose weight, that's no fault.

😂😂😂 You really crack me up Mark, I've got to admit that looked like a good meal.

 I have my moments

It was a good meal mate. Not to bad a price :thumbsup:and a nice restaurant to boot. Me and the good woman don’t get out much without the kids so on them rare occasion I take her somewhere swanky.

I'm like Bam, pretty flexible in what I eat, but I do prefer veggie dehydrated meals to take out and about, especially home made. They just taste better. I use soy protein chunks and I found a really good pea protein mince to substitute for meat. I also dehydrate pulses to add to meals as well.

Less fat to worry about going rancid with the home made dehydrated meals when they're veggie. I'll need to try the soya chunks, the Quorn chicken doesn't really hydrate very well, its like chewing on bullets.

Have you tried this?

I'll drop some in the post for you chap. I had a sample sized mince sent me with the last order and I'll add some chunks and strips too.

@David Day I've used that in the past, me and Bam like to play with the DIY dehydrated meals. :)

Dehydrated food...Not something I have tried. (That I know of lol) av looked at a few dehydrators on eBay but never took the leap.... never say never

Not for a number of years, I didn't mind it but my missus hates it. Since then I've started doing my own which is more to my taste, I suppose I could 'pimp' it I suppose.

Cheers missus, much appreciated. Looking to add something to the curries.
