I know wild garlic confidentiality enough to eat it..... but that’s about that .... well there is nettles And brambles. But like you say mate... upping the game is the way forward. Got myself a book on wild edibles of ebay but it was a reprint and hard to make the details out.... so a got myself a posh leather journal...and the idea is to study one plant at a time and draw it out along with descriptions of the details....and hopefully this fat thick heed o mine will absorb it and store it :D if not then it’s the Gary glitters for me and a few days in the scratcher....hopefully that and no the wooden suit:) dangerous business eating wild plants:poo:

Got a couple books too, got the wee Gem one in the cludgie and have a regular read. I'm far from an expert but harvest some local stuff like hazelnuts, brambles and other berries, keep meaning to to do nettle tea (done pine tea and thought it was gash), you pick up stuff as you go too, I've got my eye on some weed stuff that I'm sure in my one of my books, need to take it out for a better comparison, then have a taste test.

As you say, it might end up with a case of the Eartha's but its how we learn.

The Eartha’s (thee old rusty water) is a sure learning curve that things are heading the wrong way  but it’s a risk that am game for lol. A book in the cludgie so one can reflect on the ongoing problem sounds like a step in the right direction lol

Got that book ...the wee gem ... saved on eBay.. thinking am just going to hit the buy it now regret it later button :D
