Hi Everyone,
I've been prepping for 4/5 years.
My skills
  • basic bush-craft skills
  • good hunting/fishing skills
  • above average knowledge and understanding of food preparation and storage.
  • Knowledge of first aid and common prevention techniques
  • Good understanding of self defense.
I enjoy prepping and just generally being outside, I'm here hoping to learn new skills/ understand potential hazards and make connections for SHTF situations.
please feel free to message me if you would like to learn/improve skills together ^_^

Good morning and welcome SJ89, it sounds like you're already well ahead of the game compared to many.
Loughborough is a beautiful part of the country to spend a little outdoor time. What kind of hunting do you do?

Very difficult to practice trapping these days since many improvised traps or triggered traps are not on the DEFRA list of approved traps. While there are quite a few humane kill traps on the list they're heavy, bulky, expensive and more pest control orientated than bushcraft.
I have snares and tunnel traps but they need to be set with care to avoid non target species. I've often practiced building traps but dismantle them as soon as I get them to function in order to stay on the right side of the law.

Greetings and welcome, a question with regards self defense are you talking personal training of some kind or items that you may have?
