Strange but good viewing

You really are in a very small minority lol Godfather 2 is actually regarded as the better of the two, the third is not great. I do have one friend who just will not watch the trilogy or any mob film for that matter, he lives in New Jersey and loathes 'the mob'.

Coppola's attention to detail was phenomenal in the Godfather movies, even now I spot little details in the films I'd missed before, all his films share this depth of production. One of his films bombed, 'The Cotton Club' but its now getting a cult following...fantastic film.

You can't do the Godfather 1 or 2 justice by only seeing them once, give them another go and I'd be surprised if you still don't like the films.

Two films lined up for tonight, Goodfellas and then The Matrix :)

I've watched the first 2 a couple times over the years, maybe being dogmatic about it but I just don't rate them. I know plenty do and I'm not trying to sway anyone on it, they just don't spin my prop. Goodfellas, that's brilliant though.

Enjoyed Ronin too. De Niro has been some.ecclectic stuff over the years, Bad Grandpa almost seems surreal for a guy of his acting gravitas.

On the OP I really like Neil Gaiman. Lobed neverwhere when I was a kid and Good Omens is one of my favourite books which he did co authored with Terry Pratchett. The series of which is pretty good. But I did struggle with American Gods.

The novelty for American Gods has worn off for me, not binge watching. Watched a couple of episodes of Boston Legal yesterday, I love that show.

Just started watching 'Glitch' on netflix, really enjoying it. Set in small town Orstralya, a handful of people come back from the dead. Still no idea what's going on and I'm into the sixth episode (and final of the first series) but its grabbed me.

Am stuck on elementary and swamp thing at the mo. Excalibur 2018 is also worth a watch. Just watched John wick 3. Enjoyed it along with 1 and 2 . There will be a movie marathon with the trilogy at some point:D

Like Elementary, I'm a bit of an old skool Sherlock fan so was wary of it but its different enough that I like it. I'll need to give Swamp Thing a go, probably a stoopid question but what's it about, I mean, is it the same as the film or taking a different look at it ?

That’s what took me with elementary mate. It’s a little different and he’s a cracking actor.

Sad thing about swamp thing is there pulling the plug after this season  it’s a bit more in-depth than the movie. And doesn’t come across as a teeny bop series. It’s dark enough to enjoy lol. Great story line mate. I won’t spoil anything for you lol. Watching it as I type:D

I used to work with his half brother, lets just say I can see why they had different dads, 'our' Dusty was built on sturdier lines.

I've been watching the original Twilight Zone series, around sixty years old but the stories are still fantastic.

Watched Unbelievable on netflix last week. Didn't think it would be my thing but binge watched the lot, I don't want to say too much as it would spoil the early episodes but its about a girl who 'cries' rape and the outcome. Its better than it sounds..... honest.

Also got into the BBC thing The Capture, this really isn't my thing but I've enjoyed it despite being able to pick big holes in it. Its one where you just sit back and follow the story rather than taking it as gospel. Its the last one tomorrow night, can't wait.

Quite fancied Bosch, never got round to it and like John Lithgow, I'll give it a go, cheers.
