I was very generously gifted this from a guy on another forum. He'd made something similar and I really liked it, this was about a year ago and he recently contacted me to send me a version of it. I'm well impressed, not just with the design but how well he's done it, it feels really well made.

Worked a treat, ignore the wood, it was blowy out and it was just to secure the windshield. I can't wait to use it 'in anger'. Here's a close up of the folding mechanism, its beautifully simple.

I reckon he could make money out of this.

@Bam.

Have a word with your mate Bam.....if he is willing to make to order....... maybe a few of the guys would be interested in buying one!!?

Handmade and not run of the mill :thumbsup::)

I've pointed him towards the forum so if he fancies it then its up to him. I'll bring it to the Galloway meet so anyone interested can have look and play.

The postie arrived this morning and I heard a bit of a clunk. I've been a fairly good boy on the online buying (well, I wasn't expecting anything..... :rolleyes:). I had a hefty envelope with these in.

Pete, the guy who made them saw that there was interest so sent these 3. He reckons they're 'seconds' but I can't see anything wrong with them. Its really good of him so basically, who wants one, first come, first served.
