Good to see people out and about again enjoying the wonderful UK countryside after COVID.

England's green and pleasant land 😍 Weather looked great so an opportunity well taken.

Yes I noted the lightweight approach to camping. Wish my wife would let us travel that light. Quick question. When you blokes go bush for a stroll and a couple of nights do you take your doggos with you?

Every UK countryside adventure should end in a pub beer garden. Well done lads. Thanks for sharing your trip.

Alan

Rob and myself don't take dogs, mine has no recall so would be gone in a flash, this time around one guy took his lurcher, she was fine on the lead but she has killed deer in the past, apparentl on a neighbour's land.

Night 1 in the garden.......... One Tigris Smokey Hut stayed perfectly dry in the rain....god plastic tents are noisy!!!
Cheap chinese mesh interior worked well, Arpenaz 700 air mat (Decathlon) very comfortable for tall fat bastards......

er.......nylon IS a plastic?

Deffo, though prefer cotton if feasible  , but have the OneTigris for ultra light/compact stuff when needed?

Plastics are a wide range of synthetic or semi-synthetic materials that use polymers as a main ingredient. Their plasticity makes it possible for plastics to be moulded, extruded or pressed into solid objects of various shapes. This adaptability, plus a wide range of other properties, such as being lightweight, durable, flexible, and inexpensive to produce, has led to its widespread use. Plastics typically are made through human industrial systems. Most modern plastics are derived from fossil fuel-based chemicals like natural gas or petroleum; however, recent industrial methods use variants made from renewable materials, such as corn or cotton derivatives.[1]

On a "wild camp" the other night, earlier picnicers? had left 1/2 doz cans, 1/2 a bag of boiled sweets, and a pair of toddlers socks. Go figure, I can't......

(Bagged up and chucked in the canoe.......)
