We as a forum have secured a great location here in the southwest for the forum meet :)

the land we have available for the meet comprises of

70 acres broad-leaf woodland

700 acres of grazing/farm land

Access from the parking area to the main camp is via a 4x4 ....dont panic if you dont have one we can arrange a lift to and from the main area all we ask is you tip the ferry man with a £5

we have secured shooting rites for the duration of the meet for forum members  ALL shooters wishing to hunt the land will need to show up to date insurance and will also need to pass a shooting test organized by @divebuddy ALL rifles must be uk legal as in 12ftpld ......all questions regarding the shooting side of the event needs to be directed to Dick so please pm him for any questions ;)

the dates are 6th-11th august 2018

the cost is £7 per night(children under 14 free) (camping ) this includes shooting on some of the land for the duration of the meet

Thanks joe

It will be good to finally join in joe....and you never know maby a little single malt for a toast :D only for medicinal purposes of course ;):)
I only ever use single malt for medicinal purposes Mark, after all I might get a cold next Christmas (2018)

OK, provisionally put us down for Tues 7th - 11th and I'll see if Mel can cope with me doing an overnight drive! Otherwise it might be the Wednesday before we can get there.

I'm sure after the last meet she'll be all up for it Paul

Well given it took us 9.5 hrs to get to Wigan Joe, I think I can probably do the whole journey in less than that time during the night.

agreed, it shouldn't be to bad doing an overnight run

I don't see our names on the list, have we been banned due to Emily's behavior at the last event?

Count us in:D
