Bikepacking Kit.

Cheers Rob, looks a good link that, I'll check out in a bit more detail, on the laptop :thumbsup:

Do you fancy a few trips out on the bikes, i can jump on a train to Whitby, from Marton station a 5 minute bike ride away.

Well I have a bike .......
wouldn't mind a trip down the cinder track to Scarborough sometime .......

Look forward to seeing it kitted out mate:thumbsup:

So many plus points for a bike.....no worry about cars being left on their own vulnerable to vandalism..........walking or riding the bike down tracks and hopefully right into your chosen camp area :thumbsup:;)

Whats not to like:thumbsup::D

Exactly Bill, that's my thinking, takes the worry out it, tottering along under your own steam, more enjoyable experience.

And also doing your bit for the environment :thumbsup::D

@Madriverrob

Rob, i've had a look at the Cinder trail, looks ideal for trip out on the bikes.

Plenty of watering holes and cafés on route. When you thinking going, i'm thinking early spring time, hopefully get some decent weather.

I was reading a link last night, part of it got badly flooded, and washed good chunk of the trail away, and sustrans where looking to take over the maintenance side of it.

Let’s think about some dates , when weather improves a bit , I’m up for it dependent on other commitments etc ....

Shows the tail pack, listed at 10litres but that and a 25l daysack was enough for overnight Youth hostel stay for me and my son. The front bar pouch is a small decathlon bar bag for wallet, sweets etc. He had a small daysack for snacks.
