Dates are Sunday 1st May till Friday 6th may

The dates have now been finalised . this would be the same deal as last time with all proceeds going to support the forum (except unlike last time we may be able to fit in a little squirrel shooting for responsible owners of air rifles)
If there is interest we could set up a plinking range/ target range (@divebuddy ) :)
There is wild carp fishing locally as well as trout fishing from the end of March onward (fly only)
While there is a fire site (the one we used last time) I would request that no other ground fires are used in order to protect the pasture. There is a flushing toilet and shower available at the house.
Anyone interested please let me know by putting yourself on a list below and I will include you in a PM with directions. £8 per person/per night also please carefully read and like the terms and conditions to show that you accept them.

IF you want to join the fun please post your name below  (please be aware this meet is number dependant )

pipe up if you want your name adding to the list

Are campers/mohos allowed and wereabouts is it. CB
Well if you’re going to be a princess and bring a camper van you can expect everyone to drop in for a brew if/when it’s raining.
There is a levelish spot on the drive which looks like lawn but actually has stone underneath and will bear the weight of an HGV. I will make sure it’s clear beforehand.
We have no way of disposing of elsan chemicals because we’re on private drainage but there is a loo and a shower available at the house.
This is probably going to be the last chance to have a meet at our place because we are working towards selling it this year or maybe next.

Adam (Half Cocked) what about a metal detector?

We had a very interesting Bronze Age axe head found on the property which is now in Brecon museum. My only stipulation for detecting finds from the property is that anything of true historical value should be offered to one of the Powys museums absolutely gratis. The adjoining properties already have permissions in place for local detectorists.

come on guys get your names down for this meet up :) the more people that get involved the more stuff we can organise like a HFT shooting comp:thumbsup:

Can you also let me know if the bow making is going ahead so I can work out what is happening with the Ash trees…
