Bird fledgling ID

These are the Robins eggs I've been seeing for the last 50 odd years, slightly brown but definitely not blue.

There is an actual Robin egg blue colour with its own code. Colour is affected by the bird's diet and the number of clutches laid along with other influences.

That's the trouble you see, yours are the proper colour being in Wales but because HC is from The Pool the top layer of paint has bin robbed off the eggs so his are blue. They can't leave owt alone in The Pool.
🤣🤣🤣
I take it by your comments you think Liverpool is full of thieves?

I couldn't possibly comment further on the reputation Liverpools residents have gained for themselves, someone may take a fence. 🙂🙂

Must be American or something Peteff. Has anyone out there actually seen one of these blue eggs ( not to be confused
with Dunnocks and Redstarts which are the same size and use the same type of nest sites )

Some will, I will have a laugh with anyone and that's what banter is you and them.
I hate the 1980' stereotyping of all Scousers as thieves, so do me a favour and shut the fuck up.
Oh please do wind your neck in.
Every area gets the royal pish taken out of it.
Maybe the tinterwebs is not the place for you?
In 2 sentences you've gone to polar opposites of an opinion, do make your mind up.

I have Richard, and they were speckled blue, only a few speckles though.
I had seen the Robins at the nest so I know it was right. I have never seen the speckled buff shown in your photo.
As we all did when we were young, I had an egg collection and the Robins were always blue, not even speckled blue.
The dunnocks are the same colour but they nest a couple of feet off the ground and Redstarts nest higher, usually in a hollow
or old woodpeckers.

Do me a big favour Boything keep your opinion about Liverpool to yourself. No one has laughed at your post except you because you are just a sad little boy
who's had a drink and has someone taking care of your toiletry needs.
I'll not say anymore because speaking to an idiot like you is brain-numbing and is totally below my mental threshold.
What I am surprised about is you being a member of the staff.

It just so happens I have photographic evidence taken this very afternoon in support of
my claim. A bona fide, real life Robin actually caught in the act of laying a speckled buff brown
egg. You can tell by the look in her eyes how much of an effort it was.

It's a shame the companies don't give a flying f*ck about their waste products and the effect it's having on all
sides of the flora and fauna.
There is also the modern obsession for neatness in the countryside or garden which means old stems are cleared when they’re hosting overwintering insects, dead wood is gathered up and removed when it is food for fungi and insects, hedges are cut out of season meaning that they never bear fruit….the list goes on. We need to leave more space around the edges for wildlife and also stop adding to the everyday pollution from Joe public.
