Ancient Aliens: Do you believe?

At the risk of sounding a bit slow and admitting my ipad screen needs a clean but on the daylight picture exactly what are we looking at ? Dead centre of the picture?
Sky, clouds, natural beauty...🤷🏻‍♂️

No the daylight picture is to show what your looking at on the night time picture

Oh right , so a picture of something that isn't there under different lighting conditions?

I think he means the pale thing in the middle of the second picture that looks remarkably like a tennis ball…😇
In fact the daylight picture is unusual in its complete lack of anything even resembling unidentified flying objects…

Also evidence of dinosaurs that walked that very spot 65million years sgo....
Just in case I ever end up in court , none of you guys are lawyers ?

Well there is always the possibility that we the human race are some sort of hybrid. They can't find the missing link between us and apes. Perhaps we are like pets and the greys our owners checking in on us. Perhaps the universe is like a giant vivarium full of different biospheres with different forms of life on each. Perhaps what the religious call God, is actually the entity that keeps us as pets? The one thing I have learned by this point in my life, is everything is possible. @Joecole don't know for sure about mothers in law being aliens, but I know my fiancé's future mother in law is an angel 😉🤣

Also in reading this thread, I've noticed that most of you compare aliens to ourselves, their capabilities, their purpose and reasoning to want to visit. We don't know enough about ourselves or our own planet, how can we compare that aliens are anything like us in our way of thinking or behaving. And with the ancient peoples and why would they put in so much effort for so little return, well I have a theory on that one.........
10,000 years ago, they had nothing, in the form of knowledge compared to what we have now. So their way of thinking and perception of the world was so so different to how we think now. We understand that if there is a lightning storm going on while a loved one suddenly dies, that the two are completely random and not connected in any way, but to an ancient Egyptian, "The sky gods are angry and has taken my loved one away, we must build a pyramid to appease them" so out of fear mainly was their return, because their knowledge and understanding was so underdeveloped compared to ours now. Have you ever suffered or been close to someone suffering from severe anxiety? They say that is how our ancestors thinking was all the time. Trust me when you are stuck in anxiety, you'll do anything to get rid of that feeling, including (if you had the power to do so) making a nation build a pyramid to appease the sky gods. So that's my theory on it anyway.

Fascinating thread fellas..

I've come over to this thread to read some rational discussion after that crazy stuff about 'Flat Earth'.... no self respecting ancient alien would buy into that madness...

Gonna take a punt and say in my view the Pyramids weren't built by aliens or were inspired to be built by aliens. They were remarkable feats of engineering and doubtless pushed the social and economic resources of the societies in which they were built to the limit. But then autocratic rulers are like that even in recent times. Think of the national resources sucked up by the likes of Mr Jean Bokassa and Mr Marcias Ngumo for their own personal glorification. Both these gents ran African countries if your unfamiliar with them.

So old mate Pharaoh decides the first thing he wants to do when he is crowned 'God', (or whatever his official job description), is to build a resting place and a legacy equivalent to his status. So from day one of his ascension he puts a team onto it. They work 20 years or more. In many cases old mate dies or is disposed before his gravestone is complete. In which case the next bloke in simply takes over. Some of the dedications to Pharaohs on the pyramids have been erased and then done over with the new blokes name.

I don't see this huge effort as evidence for Aliens. Instead evidence of hubris unchecked by the political overlords and extraordinary effort, skill and craftsmanship of the poor sods toiling below. Has anything really changed?

I’ll always remember one awesome panel in an Asterix comic.

By day there are gangs of sweating slaves dragging enormous stone blocks across the desert towards where the Pyramids are being built.

Asterix returns in the evening and sees a single slave hauling futilely on a rope, trying to shift a huge block. ‘What’s he doing?’ asks Asterix of a passing Egyptian.

“Oh, he’s just putting in some overtime...”

Classic.

Saw this and thought it fits the discussion.
