Bit overcast here this morning with a nice cooling breeze.
Having at chill day on site today and dinner in the bar.
Packing up and moving camp to Chichester to visit our Daughter and family tomorrow for a couple of days.

Tally ho

Mornin' all.

Settling down to my third cup. My wife made The Boy and I apple and cinnamon scrolls for our morning tea break. Pictured here.

Glorious weather. Read on the news about 'Borixit' this morning. I understand your man is still trying to cling on to power for a few more months despite the resignation of his whole government and revulsion of the British people. He's flying his true colours now. Its all about what's in the interests of Boris, not what's in the interest of your country.

Hope somebody tosses the lying cheating scumbag out immediately. Your monarch and the British people deserve better.

Alan

Good morning all🙂
Alan, on the whole I’m rather glad Boris is on the way out, I see him as a one trick pony…he pushed Brexit through and negotiated a pretty poor deal in the process.
Having been a Conservative voter all my adult life I could not bring myself to vote for them under his leadership (look at my posts over the last few years on the subject) and I’m only surprised at how long it took for his fellow Conservative MPs to lose patience with his lack of integrity.

D'accord!

Luckily for us there are some quality Ministers ready to take his place. You have….🤔🤔……..???……..🤔🤔🤔…….🤷🤷🤷

We could always revert to the Labour Party, Sir Kie……….Nope forget it!

Then there is the Lib Dems…..🤣🤣🤣🤣…Their leader is a star, ohhh what’s his name, you know, wasname, what’s he called now. 🤷 I’m sure his name rhymes with “Useless”

Anyone on here fancy a job? Cos I reckon we are FBARD!

True Mike, having said that, Mark Drakeford is a walking personality free zone but he has integrity. Most people in Wales hadn’t heard of him before he took office in the Welsh Assembly (when political scandal did for his predecessor). Even though he is old school Labour I’m prepared to admit that I respect him for what he has achieved while in office.

Morning all.

Another lovely start to the day.....blue skies and sunshine abound.
We are only a few miles from our Daughters house....so she and our 3 year old Grandson are coming to spend the day with us.
She has bought herself another house so going to see it with her tomorrow before we make our way back home.......its been a great trip......roll on the next one 🙂👍

Have a good'un

Are woolly socks with tech sandals a bit too Grandad?…..maybe I’m asking the wrong question considering the average age on this forum :sneaky: 🤣

My wife heated up home baked apple turnovers for our morning tea. The Boy had half and I had a whole one plus his other half. 🤤

This was much appreciated as I have spent the morning splitting rocks. The Boy spent his morning asleep in his bed.

I'm am putting in a new road/track round the back of our garages and workshops to create a full turning circle of about 100m diameter on approach to our house. It will also serve as a fire break and creates access for an additional row of sheds or buildings as we need them.

I made a first few passes with tractor bucket then went to work with crow bar and pick before cleaning up with grader. The Boy slept through this activity but was first in line when my wife started dishing out the morning tea.

Not complainin'. Just saying. 😖
