Anyone done it? I've just booked 2 nights for me and the wife at Main Farm, Stirling. Its a converted air sea rescue sea king. Nice little trip up on the bike and stay in something a little different.

@Poacher63 We've been to this campsite in Thornhill a couple of times. The Heli and the wigwams have fire pits you can use (the tent pitches don't though). The showers in the gents block are much better than the plastic cubicle things. There's a great pub in the village too and a good wee play-park for the kids.

The only negative thing I'll say about the heli is that you'll have a lot of 'spectators' photographing you so keep the curtains closed if you need privacy :)

Enjoy :)

I remember once my partner reading a book once, as I looked over my shoulder feeding onto the M3......
a few years ago now, on a Gt 500 I think.......
