15 yard range... compare results!!

Sorry about the attachment not opening for some of you. Not sure what the issue is, but I'm sure it has something to do with the photo being shot and loaded from my phone and not from my pc.

I must say my initial reaction was extremely positive and the wait was well worth it. That continued with a quick plunk last night before dinner. I ordered one of those ft shooting seats from SFS, but I'm using it as a rest for my left arm/hand to try and prevent the pain I've been experiencing recently and so far it doing a great job. A longer session is required to make sure it's a permanent improvement. Really loving how the rifle now shoots and I'm looking forward to getting some longer range shooting in next week.

No CH, I still can't login to AS with my home broadband. Sky still insist it's not their problem. I explained again that I've had this problem with them in the past and if it isn't sorted by the end of this week I will cancel my contract. Gonna see where that gets me.

TW, I read that you were wondering about the weight differences between the TX and the. HW95, well having both I can say that although I believe their physical weights are very similar, the 95 feels lighter and easier to handle, but that could be just me.

Have you tried clearing cookies from your browser, then logging in again?

What error message(s) do you get when you try to log in to AS? Can you log in to other forum-based sites OK, like the Weihrauch Owners' Forum?

I can't see the attachment either, will take others word for it that groups are much improved. :)

Did first pellet test today, using the JSB Exacts. I fired ten shots into the first target upper left, while adjusting zero downward. The next target got ten more shots (upper right). The barrel should now be "seasoned" with lead. Though to be honest I don't think it makes damn bit of difference. The middle two targets were shot five times each. The bottom two likewise. Though by the time I reached the bottom I was getting quite tired of cocking and wrestling the HW77 . Had a song in my head at the time (You can have her,I don't want her, she's much too fat for me!) . Anyway first test done, when I get a chance I'll shoot the H&N FTT 4.52 .

Looks like it's not allowing me to attach an image here (it rarely does) ,so you guys will have to make do with the photobucket link.

Well, that's the thing I got new pellets to try to see if I could tighten the groups more. I think the adjustable recoil pad has helped anchor the stock to my should and made head placement a lot more consistant. I think the rifle can do better,it's just being held back by the loose nut behind the trigger. ;)

Couple of nice groups there, TW... :) You'll find, when you start shooting the H&Ns, that the first four or five shots are all over the place. After the barrel seasons in a bit, the group size should settle down noticeably, in my experience. Unless the pellet is completely wrong for your barrel, of course! ;)

Try the Basic Uploader option, it normally works even when the main upload widget doesn't.

Here's GDFB's original target pic with the SFS-tuned HW95 for those of you who can't see it.

I like those groups!

Problem is ,that when I tried to attach the image it did not even display the basic uploader option.Tried a few times and it got so it would not even display the upload button. Not much I can do with that. From my perspective it's a very hit/miss system.

Only problem I've had is with loading images from my phone. However, I still can't open AS with my laptop, it times out. I can access all my other forums without any problems, it's just AS. Sky said they would look into it, but heard feck all from them. I've tried different browsers, all with the same result. It's bloody hard work doing it from my phone. I might have a session with the laptop using the data connection from my phone.

Sounds like there's a block on this site, for some reason. Check Windows Firewall's settings and Internet Explorer's settings, and insert a security exception in both, if possible, for www.activeshooter.co.uk. Disable any security and parental control software, as TW said, and retry. Clear your browser cache of all cookies and retry, or if you have already entered passwords for other sites, then search and destroy all cookies featuring activeshooter.co.uk and retry. One of those should fix it. I can't see why Sky would block access to this forum, unless there's a network parental control in place or something. If there is, go online to your Sky account profile, and disable it, then retry.

Is the screen just timing out, or is there an error message too?

Try clicking on this link, which should take you straight to the login page.

Managed to hobble out between rains with HW77 and shoot at 30yds. I'm still not getting the consistency I desire. The JSB exacts seem to work the best of anything I have tried.I wonder if it would make any difference to go to an RS (ligher weight) or a heavy? Given my power output of barely over 11 ftlbs I would think that going to a lighter pellet might be better.
I quite normally blame(and rightly so) the loose nut behind the trigger, this time I am beginning to wonder.
