We don't mind you goin' orf in your wheeled shed, you always send great pics back. Have fun!!!

Met up with @bushdogg yesterday in Avignon. Since he's been absent from this forum since the end of July, having been on feckin' holiday for nearly three months , I thought that, since he's a moderator, I should give him a damn good kicking on your behalf. :alert:

So I forced him and The Memsahib Bushdogg to sit down, drink wine and eat seafood with me and Lady CH for at least a couple of hours at Le Pavilion Bleu restaurant, in sight of the Pont d'Avignon (yes, the one in the song).

I think he's learned his lesson.

Meanwhile, after dumping his body in the Rhône, here's the next town we visited -- Gordes, in the Lubéron. Wouldn't have wanted to be a brickie on that particular project...:eek::eek:

I trust you paid your dues, how long did you stay & where abouts ?

A place just outside abbergawotsitenny.
Did a kitchen in a farmhouse just around the village from old Blondie roofer, total eclipsed byrd.
There about a fortnight never ett so well. B+B owner set us a challenge to clear our breakfast plates, they got bigger every day.
His dog was gittin quite well fed by the 2nd week as well.

Nice pics again CH. How much more exploring ya gonna do before you get home sick then? What's the weather like, been very sh1tty here.

Blue skies and sunshine today in Haute Provence. :alert: Got about 10 more days of lazing around and eating good food before we return to drizzly Brittany.

Did the Verdon Gorges today. Stunning scenery, and some amusingly tight mountain roads hanging over sheer drops. :p Lady CH didn't leave too many fingernails in the dashboard... :D

I don't remember swimming in the Rone river, you must have got me drunk Keith, hope it cost a lot, ;) I am now in Basse Normandie and heading for Le Havre overnighting in Nononcourt. I look forward to returning to duty next week . Arrrg!........mike

Meanwhile, as Bushdogg drives North into the endless drizzle, one is currently struggling with the constant sunshine at Cavalaire sur Mer, on the Côte d'Azur.

Sundown with a sundowner. It's a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it...

Visited the morning market today at Le Lavandou, about half an hour's stroll from our campsite. Mandy bought up most of the market, but I contented myself with a new hat, a charcuterie sausage flavoured with Piment d'Espelette, and a bottle each of fluorescent green and red nail varnish, as you do. :D

Squid, mussel and potato soup was on offer...

On the way there, we ran into some old friends -- several Crested Tits were faffing about in the mimosa trees by the side of the pavement.
