Apple Sauce

Apple Sauce


  • 12 x Apples, washed and cut in quarters.
  • ½ cup of Sugar.
  • 2 teaspoons of Cinnamon.
  • 2 tablespoons of Butter.
  • ½ cup of Water.


Put the apples, sugar, cinnamon, butter and water into a large pot and simmer, stirring often.

For the first 10 minutes check the level of the liquid, and if necessary add water. Cook for about 20 minutes or until the apples are soft.

Sieve roughly and serve hot for best results.
