Decided at 6 this morning to walk from Carmarthen to Llansteffan 16 mile all in all, managed half of it then had to be rescued as my hips decided to go wonky on me. Still got there and had some brekky and a coffee by the ancient castle woods.

Great photos and scenery Jon, I can fully understand the hip issues
Add to that the fact that there is barely enough level ground to stand your stove up around Llanstephan and it makes for real difficulties if you're not too mobile, even the beach there is hard going with either soft sand or slick estuary mud.
I love it at Llanstephan, we try to take the dogs as often as we can. My dream house is also there, right down at the end of a steep path by the beach.

Hope the hips are feeling a bit better now mate.
Lovely pictures and a good bimble too.
I don't do nearly enough walking...... Must get a grip on that. đź‘Ť
