So jealous. I love that area. Ive multi day canoed the spey 4 times and done 2 multi day hikes as well as a bunch of mountain biking there. If I could I would move house to there in a heart beat although I dont think mrs wolfshead would be too chuffed.

It's a few hours drive for me too but at least I'm in central Scotland. Been up a few times over the years and plan to go back later this year once the Midgies have expired - they do spoil things somewhat :(:)

Only had the experience of the midgies once during a mountain bike ride up in the hills past aviemore and it was horrendous as soon as you stopped or slowed down.
