Had a lovely morning's fishing on the canal on Friday.
The sun was out, maggots were fiesty and I had a good catch. Nothing monstrous but what the hey, I didn't blank

It was a very relaxing way to spend a morning. I have been told there's good sized Pike and Chub in the canal, but for that I will have to get the rod and reel out, if I can remember what to do with the damn things!

Just curious do you coma across many people magnet fishing, you can find some rather odd stuff nowadays. The magnets are pretty cheap if you fancy a change
