addition to the fishing kayak

I posted a picture of my fishing kayak earlier in the year.
After seeing a fishing buddy with electric propulsion on his craft I decided to follow suit.
The attached pics show the new electric outboard attached via a mounting frame I constructed from an aluminium shower curtain rail. Maiden voyage this week when the sea conditions allow.

nice set up, i was strapping the sevylor trolling motors to inflatable canoes/kayaks when they first came out lol some worked some didnt, is that a brought mount or a custom job?

Hi Dick.

Just found a picture of my old fishing yak.
Went a few miles in this one mate, and accounted for a few Bass etc.
She was called "The Mistress" :)

I may still have some spare pad eyes, and carry handles in the shed, Ill have a look.
 
I guess it's time to think about getting the boat and gear ready for getting out on the sea again with summer around the corner, i came across these on eBay whilst browsing. . . Cheap and many sold! What's your thoughts guys?

If it keeps you safe Lee then it can't be wrong
