This is inspiring. Would love to spend a week living like this. Then gain the skills to give up the rat race for good. From your posts I've learnt that back to basics is the way to go. Gizmos are great till they break! I particularly like your technique of removing molten metal from your pliers. With your finger!

Keith, when you make shot do you use some sort of dropper to get a uniform size shot?
No mate I don't. I don't make my own bird shot, but I can. It is not uniform. I can cut lead from lead sheet, or I can cut from the spru. That is the lead left attached to round ball after moulding. Swan shot/buckshot I make in a mould.
