Been up at a friends farm today laying some hedge. Got about an eighth of the work done. Nice to get back to working in nature.

And the payment? A load of organically and biodiversely grown veg, and a 2.5kg organic belted Galloway brisket joint. Same again tomorrow!

Hedge is looking good John.......and you certainly look happy to be grafting outdoors :D

Bonfire in the making??

Looks like some nice ground for a bit of shooting/pest control there......have you asked your mate about the possibilities of some shooting?
You could add some nice Rabbit to that Brisket joint :)

Keep the pictures coming

I have permission there already. Plenty of crop damage by rabbits, plenty of warrens and runs. But getting to spot one of the buggers, well thats a different thing! Spent many hours sitting, stalking, waiting and got nothing!

If you wanted to do a little night shooting it's amazing the difference in numbers of bunnies that you see on a crisp dry night. A rifle lamp doesn't have to be expensive these days.
