Loving that viewing window in the stove mate
These stoves are definitely look to be a huge step up from the older ones in terms of ease of use and performance.
How warm did you get in the new hot tent.......it will be good to have space to dry wet/damp kit.
I bet you are itching to get back to Scotland in the snow :D

06.30.....🤔......I trust you have woken the bitch for ones morning beverage and customary fried breakfast :D

How was your night guys.......all good?

The trip put was a nice few days away from the rat race and to test out a few new items of kit in readiness for the next trip north

first bit of kit on the agenda to test was the new stove ... Winnerwell Nomad Small Tent Stove | Portable Tiny Wood Burning Stove for Tents, Shelters, and Camping | 450 Cubic Inch Firebox | Precision Stainless Steel Construction | Includes Chimney Pipe: Amazon.co.uk: Sports & Outdoors

first impressions when setting it up was "its a well made bit of kit " very easy to light and when it gets upto temp (5mins) it chucks out some heat ... more than enough to keep the tent toasty and its a perfect size for cooking on :) just before bed load it up with a few hard wood logs and the fire stays in for a good few hrs while you drift of to sleep :D all in all an excellent bit of kit and we worth the purchase price ...

next bit of kit to test out was this https://www.onetigris.com/tegimen-hammock-awning-hot-tent.html

when unpacking the tent to put it up i was very pleased with the quality. after reading a few reviews of their other items of kit i was a tad unsure on if to hit the button or not ... very easy to put up with either a ridge line or like i did used 2 poles to support the tent ...

plenty of space in side for the bed chair and stove and also your other items of kit .... on pack up the tent folds away a piece of cake

would i recommend the items in this write up ..... its a yes from me :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Nice wite up mucker.....and Nice choice of kit 👌
Glad you are happy with the new set up.

The world turns and things change...slightly...:D Different material, different weight but looks remarkably similar to what I remember from what were the styles of the 1950's...
