The camp bed turned up while we were away.
Got to say I am more than impressed by it from the word go..... Easy to put together.... Well made and nice and comfy..... Happy with the price for what you get.
Good ground clearance without being too high.
With the sides turning up.... The sleeping matt and you are held snugly in place.
Will be adding some heavy duty velcro pads to the feet of the legs so I can use some leather pads to ease pressure points on groundsheets.

Very happy.

Nearly went for something very similar Mike......good strong beds they are.
As you say....not the lightest.....but pretty much bombproof like the old issue beds

That's a deal breaker for me, I've 'through the looking glass' on that one. Solid muscle of course....

The old issue beds had a tendency for the legs to fall out half way through the night as the sockets wore with age, which didn’t help the sleep experience....

To be fair there is not very much to test really....its well made......comfortable and nice and light.......packs away small.
Only real test will be the longevity.........a case of buy and try

Ordered up some heavy duty velcro pads to attach the leather (whatever) Discs to the beds feet....... to prevent pressure points and possible damage to the ground sheets.

Was in the shop today so managed to get some leather pads cut out in readiness for the Velcro turning up..... Should do the trick nicely

The Heavy Duty Velcro arrived.

Got to say.... the adhesive is spot on.... Nice and strong and bonded well to both the plastic and the leather surfaces.

Worth the effort and will hopefully do the job well.
