As I was getting ready to move I noticed a few strange holes in the tree that was caressing my arss, very strange as they are almost perfect cycles, as if they were intended for fixing another piece of wood to it, stood there thinking for a minute (new for me ) then it came to me 💡 possibly a woodpecker ? What says yous ?

was tempted to give the fire lightning a go with one of them, but alas I forgot to bring my ferro rod 🤷🏼‍♂️ Next time tho 👍🏻.

I really need to learn fungi as I stumble on a lot of it and I love mushrooms (not the nifty kind🙄) might find a local course to take and buy a book 😁

The holes are definite peckers Mark and the big fungi growing on the wood are Horses Hoof

Bloody acute wee birdy mate
Yep but those holes were probably made by great spotted peckers not the green one mate so your lucky, just find a place to sit quietly and you stand a good chance of seeing them
