A wee point about fire wood. These are my local prices for bags of wood.

RSPB Loch Garten Osprey Centre​

Beautiful and wild, the area near Nethybridge contains ancient Caledonian pineforest, moorland, wetland, mountain and Loch Garten Osprey Centre. Get up close to some of Scotland's most amazing wildlife at the centre and nature reserve, only a 20 minute drive from Aviemore.

Cairngorm Brewery​

Loch Garten RSPB will be closed. I was there in Sept and they were closing at the end of the month. You can still get onsite, which is worthwhile, but the Osprey centre itself will be closed.
