tweaked my back today in work :(...bloody typical its my saturday of and id planned to get out on the moor for a night .... will see how i am tomorrow ;)
 
How is it this morning mate.....hope you had a good night.
Of course your no Spring Chicken anymore.........best you lighten that pack and only take 5lb of bacon instead of the normal 15lb :rofl::p:thumbsup:

I think you will find that I was the appointed bacon lugger on this trip Bill ! :D

See how the poor old sod is this morning.......if in doubt don't go out.
Especially carrying a load on your back over uneven ground.
Could make things a whole lot worse.:(

Hope you do manage your trip and look forward to the pictures and write up.

As a just in case might pay to take some hiking poles along.

Much as we need to get out he is back at work on Monday so that needs to be taken into account. :thumbsup:

My back will be the next to give in if we go as I couldn't take carrying 3 bergens into camp. :eek:

One for me, one for the injured Matt & one containing a whole Percy Pig ! :wink-pig:
 
I sent him a text in which I threatened to consume the bacon rolls myself. :whistle:

I think it had the desired effect ! :thumbsup::rofl:



Seemed to have done the trick :rofl:

If he gets stuck. Just dangle the roll in front of him on a stick:rofl::whistle:
 
Ultra light packing list for older persons:

1.) Air mat
2.) Sleeping bag
3.) Bivvy bag
4.) Bacon or white bread
5.) Water bottle
6.) Toilet paper
7.) Daypack to carry it
