I bought one ages ago as my mug tends to live in my webbing as part of my 12/24 hour kit but I’ve seen them made from thick tinfoil like a disposable roasting tin; works well but not as durable.

It’s a drinking lid to go on it after you’ve finished cooking and is a bit toss.

Heavy duty boil cover for the Crusader Mug. For those of you who are unsure, the mk1 mug is on the right hand side in the pictures and is silver in colour, the mk2 on the left and is black. be sure to check the shape of your mug as well, the mk1 having a rolled edge the mk2 having a straight edge.
