Bow ????

Smashing offer 👍🏻
If you don't end up with a broken stick (unlikely), you will end up with a custom made bow, fitted to your body and strength. Nothing fancy and scientific, like Bill has spoken about, this is a 6000 year old design that people used to put food in their family's mouths. You aim and shoot it intuatively, no fancy sights or clever technicalities. 6000 years ago they made them using just flint tools; you will have the luxury of steel tools. Make no mistake - it will take you two FULL days to complete it. It's a lot of hard work. Make sure you have the time and dedication.

You would be more than welcome if you can make it to the next mid Wales meet.
I can only imagine the investment in time and effort it must have taken our ancestors to even fell and split a reasonably sized tree using flint tools and hardwood wedges…let alone fashion a well balanced bow. They must have been precious beyond belief.
Just as long as y’all realise you aren’t gutting any of my sheep for Mesolithic bowstrings.
