I am heading to Dartmoor for 2 days this weekend.
Forecast is not too good - rain withba chance of snow on Saturday.
Any ideas, tips, advises how and what to prepare for a cold 2 days and a night in a tent?

Inflatable mat 3cm
Meryno wool blanket
Sleeing bag with 0°extreme
Foldable saw and Mora knife.
Other stuff like Highlander stove etc.
I'm a snowboard instructor so base layers etc sorted
Just in case durable tarp 3x5.
Any tips how to improve comfort in a dump a freezing conditions?

Any tips how to start a decent fire having dump punk wood around and pine tree forest and keep it on over night?
Good luck on the fat wood, what area did you go for ?Fire will be outside a forest border across a stream just to be on a safe side.
I believe pine is the only source of wood there...
Will try to learn feathering and sourcing fatwood
