Been out the back cutting some carving blanks.
First time using the new Band Saw......very impressed with it.
This little lot should last a week or two.
Need to form a few templates for projects.
But.....made a start.

We were looking at buying some new Salad type spoons a week or so back.
So going to have a crack at homemade.

Made a template using 3mm ply.
Reduced the 1 inch Lime Wood to half inch thickness on the band saw.
Will hand carve to finish.

Made the template for the other half of the set and cut it out ready for the off with the knife.
I was going to leave enough wood at the top of the handles to try and carve some oak leaves and acorns......maybe next time.
