Got myself some logs for a bit of carving, still making my mind up on what to carve ,possibly another kuksa .

I believe these to be from a birch tree , can anyone confirm this please lol

It will probably sit there for a while knowing me lol , however I’ve told my little warrior what it’s for and she bloody relentless so could be sooner than I imagined see how it goes

Will have to sharpen the hook knife and carving knife first, that also means I will have to make custom strops to do so, this thread may linger for a while

Wax the ends and season it for a couple of years while you think about it. I had a piece of burr on the yard for a couple of years while I thought about it then used it on the fire
