Chocolate Bananas.

Easy fast dessert with no washing up!

All you need is a banana and a flake.

Peel the skin from belly side of banana but do not remove it.

Cut a V groove all the way along the banana and about half way through the banana and remove the banana that is in that groove.

Load the groove with crumbled flake.
Put the peeled skin back and secure it with wire or a withy.

Put the banana by the fire, on the BBQ or in the oven.

The banana caramelizes and the chocolate melts.

Remove the belly skin that you secured and enjoy.

My boy old loves them, but a bit too sweet for me.

Yes, very good dessert - for replenishing energy.
Simply cut open the banana lengthwise, cut to fill the fragments chocolate pieces and bake in the fireplace (or pan).

These are a regular at Scout camps (can't poison anyone's little darling with them) ;)

They are nice I ruined some recently as I used organic dark chocolate they came out sour best think to use is a flake

That's what ruined them I think, flake is perfect it just crumbles in small ;)

I do them for the children I work with but stick chocolate buttons in the slit I make and wrap them in tinfoil.
