Christmas Eve Walk..

This morning I ventured out on a 6 mile walk around the outskirts and the inside of Auckland Castle grounds. This is such a beautiful place and very well maintained. The river gaunless runs through the Castle grounds and joins the river Wear into Durham City.

Thanks for the lovely comments. It is a beautiful place and an Ideal place for an overnighter but the game keeper would not be very happy.

I have the same problem here with the Ranger.....although we are on good terms.
Lucky to have several thousand acres to shoot on.....pest control......they did try wild camping but had a change of mind....I was gutted

Have to say that those Autumn/winter colours in UK are stunning and unique. I can almost feel the damp chill and smell the earthy smell of those woodlands...
