Do you carry soap in your B.O.B? I carry a bar of soap, but I have also used wood ashes & water for cleaning my hands. Fresh urine from a healthy person is good for cleaning out wounds.

I read somewhere that you should keep soap in your medical kit, and so keep it until you need it for 'scrubbing up'.
 
The horse chestnut tree also has saponins in both it's leaves and conkers and can be used as a soap substitute.
You can or so I've heard also crush the nuts and throw in ponds to stupefy the fish,but I think the water needs to be fairly warm for this to work.
