For Sale Custom knives made to order

not sure it was obvious but i'm just offering examples of how some of those features are achieved. in no way am i saying "copy this", more like "maybe you can use these as inspiration".

i'd say if any of that seems helpful then run with it, cook something up. obviously a good part of the fun of commissioning something is giving the maker freedom to play with some ideas.

This some what closer to what you were thinking

hello Graham, thanks for the offer but I think i'll pass on that. i have had it on a few knives and TBH never found it very useful.

Oki doki no problem just wanted check with you sorry its been a little delayed had to finish off another job I was doing in time for a birthday but back on it now so will be done soon sorry again for the delay

no problem at all. at this rate i think you're paying yourself about £5 per hour so i'm not going to complain about delivery dates since we never really discussed that in the first place. in your own time and happy to see it when it suits you.

So this is after hardening and tempering and I was thinking of leaving the blade as is I kind of like it just have to do the final sharpening and also I had a little miss hap with the rear striker you wanted while profiling it my grinder grabbed and pulled it into the work table and ripped a huge chunk out of it as you can see in the pick and it looks terrible and I will have to grind it off unless you want it left on and take it off if you don't want it really annoyed but I didn't want start again just let me know will send more when it's finished 👍

looks great to me! as you say, blade looks good the way it is i think, i quite like the darkness of it. just doing a sharpen sound perfect.

the peening on the blade is perfect, and nice file work on the tang BTW, 👍

forgive me but i'm not sure i understand what the problem with the butt striker is. i'd say do whatever you think is best to finish the butt as you see fit, i'm sure i'll be happy with it if you are.
