Just had a little look about to see whats around, pretty good in fact, two Stags, three Hinds and a calf. Plus the amazing noises coming out of the forest as it drew dark, Ravens going to roost, Owls a hooting and the Stags roaring………It was bloody amazing!

The ones in the pics are Red Alan, but there are also Roe in that area. We are crawling with Fallow, but they strangely keep to certain river valley areas where their population has exploded in recent years, nothing to be out early morning and see 150!

The Red and Fallow are rutting right now, and the roaring from the Red especially, is an eerie experience as darkness falls. In fact, it is quite addictive. 👍😀
