Thanks for that.One my ex infantry pals likes to frequently point out that ‘real men’ were issued with the 120 litre Bergan and the ‘boys’ were issued with the 80 litre ninja turtle ruck.
We usually respond the extra 40 litres was for their make up set!
No offence to anyone who identifies as infantry.

One year one of our sons was on a KAPE event (or whatever they call them now), standing there in full battle dress and face cam. A young woman came over to him and began asking him about the face paint. He told her it was made by Max Factor ‘cos we’re worth it”. She was defo hooked!
