feel your pain 
got very attached to my first car...an Astra sport...nothing special but I plowed a lot of money into it..to keep it! But in the end the bill was going to be more that the car was worth.

I'd love another land rover but it doesn't really fit with lifestyle at the moment ( my missus likes foreign holidays !), or a Suzuki Jimny as above but cant afford one . Never say Never though
