I make no claim to specialism in this area, but my thoughts are as follows:

There are too many sections in which to post. The result is a diluted activity level in any given section.
To be successful, a forum must gain sufficient activity with a reasonable rate of response to new posts. Given that a new forum starts with few members, this is difficult to achieve. The number of sections compounds the problem.
So my question is; would it have been prudent to limit the number of sections to the absolute minimum and then add sections as the forum gains its own critical mass in terms of activity?

Got to agree with Steven on this...

There are a "few" sections and one can get lost trawling through them all...

BUT, apart from that a superb website and forum with plenty of add ons :D :D :D

Lee think about it mate if points were easy to get everyone would have millions, so you could buy coloured names, glow names , play loads of games etc etc.
If we all do this people would soon get bored with all the extras the site offers.
Anyway if you had loads you would not be nicking Sparkes points and then I would not be able to watch him beat you up :D

This site offers much more extras than any other forum so lets not spoil it. ;)

personaly i like the site and i do not think there are too many forums, if this is so maybe combine the ft and hft into one and the hunting and general into one. Other than that i think the extras are great, the subscription rewards are excellent and the responce although a bit limited is sound. My nly niggle would be to double the value of each point item i.e for a post make it .50 so the items are just a bit more attainable.

Cheers any way for the forum Jim:)

I agree, at least you know where to find subjects.

I like it as it is. All topics seem to be covered adequately. I can't think of anything negative but Lee G might appreciate a vehicle maintenence section!
