Might look into that when I come back as it looks to be a better long-term solution :thumbsup:

The pipe insulation will do for this trip I reckon

Prior to last years outing I covered it in bicycle inner-tube but when I checked it a couple of weeks ago the rubber was starting to perish

It has been kept in the garage so the temperature fluctuations are probably to blame :)
 
Gutted, if this had been the week before I would have been able to make it for a couple of day

There are lots of individual trips mainly by lads in the north east and Scotland who get together for over nighters and week ends. As a forum we usually have the Scotland trip coming soon and a summer meet which is a week
