Got fed up to the back teeth of being ripped of over the price of c500 gas cans ..... so i bought an adapter that lets me use the cheaper cans they sell in packs of four....for less than £1 each ....

the smaller cans are 220 grams so to make up the same quantity of gas as the c500 you would need 2 at a cost of £2 rather than £7-12 for a C500

heres a link to the adapters i bought (cheaper ones are available on ebay ) Coolty 2 PCS Camping Gas Adapter Convertor Stove Connection for Butane Canister to Screw Gas Cartridge: Amazon.co.uk: Sports & Outdoors

A nice find Matt:thumbsup:

It’s not a straight 2 for 1 swap as those butane cylinders provide less energy per gram than the propane-butane mix in the screw on cylinders. Another option; which I haven’t tried, is that you can buy adapters to refill propane/butane cylinders from a larger cylinder.
