Ooh tool porn. I do medieval reenactment and use woodworking tools in the show. I have a few axes , adzes and a couple of draw knives . I use a saw which is a converted diston . The twybil is an interesting one I've been thinking about. Ideally I would like a carpenters twybil which is a longer type of thrust axe although in some respects the hurdle makers one in your picture would probably get more use. I also have an use a tapered bit like yours I use for chair leg sockets and the like . The larger blue twist bit and the steel wedges don't make it to a reenactment but they do live at home in the workshop.. Do I see a froe top left hand corner? The tools in the centre look very much like turners gouges . I don't do much turning although we do have a pole lathe turner in our group. We've been recently trying out a stock knife as he's a little nervous rough shaping with an axe. The stock knife itself is a tool that needs some practice of it's own we have found.
