The trip turned out a success, I hope. My friends had never 'done' Dartmoor before and were keen to try it. They were both old hands at wild camping but never on Dartmoor. The weather was not kind to us - typical Dartmoor weather. Not a problem, the myths they had heard were proved to be a reality. The weather did limit what we could do and when, I wanted to take them to somewhere while the sun was shining to see the view, 2 minutes later the mist and rain came down and I had to change the plan and go somewhere else. Got the tarps up and bedded down at Huntingdon Warren on the second night as the rain pissed down and the wind blew a howler - slept like a baby. For me it was a great trip, I think/hope that my friends agree with this - that's what they said anyway. :)
