The lansky system is good for creating a bevel,after that I'll you need is a touch up. I have a spyderco sharpmaker for that...

Think I'll give that a miss and order a Lansky Sharpening System

I bought a Lansky sharpening set at the last car boot I went to it is
a brilliant bit of kit,I use it regularly.
Downside it is not a lot of good for very small knives they don't fit in
the jaws very well.
I use mine for all our carving and cutting knives and would recommend.

Washita stones and a leather strop. Out in the field I use a fine stone and strop cannibalised from a steel Rolls Razor set epoxy glued to a rigid piece of plastic.

Great bit of kit that, had my fixed blade buck vanguard and folding 110 for years use them for every thing except fishing got an old Normark great knife

I've got the lansky and it is pretty good.
Only problem is knives that are bigger than 6 inches long need readjustment in the jig to get the whole length.

Yes that's the one. Cracking knives for the price. I went for the green handle and black sheath as orange would stand out like a sore thumb in the field.

I went for the green one too. Twice. They both got lost, so then I went for the orange one. Lesson learned.
