Knife sharpening

I use a Fjallraven DC4 Diamond/Whetstone, for touch ups out on a trip.

You can make one out of different grades of wet/dry sandpaper, bit of ply board for a few quid :thumbsup:
 
Thanks for your replies really helpful.
I use a small double sided stone, one side is fine and soaked in washing up liquid and the other side slightly rougher and a diamond sharpener which I use in the field and when I get home my knives get a swipe on a butchers steel and in the words of an American TV presenter " My knives will cut"
