This year so far has been very damp (understatement) and while it may not be the most favourable conditions for our food crops many native species are thriving and growing fast. My area is noted for being low lying, and plants such as Cow parsley are very abundant. There is also a lot of hemlock which is a member of the same family and looks very similar to both Cow Parsley and wild Parsley. It is extremely poisonous and very easy to confuse. The Blog below helps identify the plant. I will add the blog has nothing to do with me nor do I have any relationship with the author of the work.
Hemlock, Conium Maculatum

No, I don't cultivate hemlock in the garden!
(I am not married)

What I mean is, that several herbs people usually cultivate in their gardens look very similar.
