Another practice piece on the lathe. This one is a bit chunkier and made from cherry. More heavy duty for sea fishing.

Is there enough room in the capped end recess to store a couple of hooks and a few split shots?

Got to say I'm impressed with the lathe itself considering it's about 60 years old, and it's mounted on an old pallet, plus made my own tools frim bits of pipe and broken files for now, so things are turning out better than I expected.
